MOT Test

Everyone who uses a vehicle on the road must keep it in a roadworthy condition. The MOT test checks that vehicles meet road safety and environmental standards. The first MOT test for a vehicle is required when it’s three years old. Appointments available daily.

Vehicle Servicing

We recommend that you book your vehicle in for a service at least every 12 months or every 12,000 miles, or whichever comes first. This is in line with most manufacturers servicing schedules. Government legislation now means that no matter how new your vehicle is, you can have it serviced wherever you like and not invalidate your warranty, provided all parts fitted are of the necessary quality standard. When you book through us, all services are carried out using only first class parts and lubricants, so you can rest assured that your vehicle is in safe hands.

Air Conditioning Servicing

Manufacturers recommend carrying out an air conditioning service every two years to keep it working at optimum level. Air Conditioning Diagnostics

Before we can carry out your Air Con Service (including an air con regas), as a legal requirement we'll need to check the system for any faults or leaks. These include a temperature check, a refrigerant check, a thorough inspection of the system's key components, including the compressor, condenser, drive belts and hoses and a leak test (using nitrogen).
Once complete, we will give you the option of a full Air Con Service including an air con regas. Should we diagnose a fault on our system check we will provide you with a full estimate of the repairs required.

Cambelt/Timing Belt Replacement

Here at WFC we will only fit a timing belt kit and waterpump, if the waterpump is diven by the cambelt, and we will renew the antifreeze. Your manufacturer's warranty will not be affected.

Electric and Plug in Hybrid Vehicles

AutoCare garages are among the first independent garage technicians in the UK to become fully qualified to service and repair electric and plug in hybrid vehicles.
According to industry legislation, to be fully qualified to service and repair electric and plug in hybrid vehicles technicians must complete two IMI accredited qualifications; EV/PHEV Routine Maintenance Activities Level 2.2 Award and EV/PHEV Routine Maintenance Activities Level 3 Award. WFC are proud to be a fully qualified repair centre for electric and plug in vehicles.

Utilising our technicians extensive knowledge and Canadian Technology we have invested in the latest engine decarbonising technology. Our decarbonising system cleans your engine from the inside out.
